Compensation:
$20 per hour
Responsibilities
- Maintaining secure access control points at schools
- Collaborating closely with school staff to ensure safety measures are in place
- Completing digital reports and equipment checklists for efficient operations
- Willingness to work in various locations in the Southwest LA area
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods to monitor school premises
- Ability to handle diverse weather conditions and lift up to 50lbs
- Adaptability for potential remote work situations requiring self-direction and independent thinking
Requirements
- Eligibility for an Armed security guard license
- Reliable transportation
- Proficiency with Basic Tablet/Smart Phone Applications
- Clean criminal background (Required)
- Physical fitness, including the ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
- Over 21 years of age (Required)
- Must also pass the Calcasieu Parish School Board Background check
- Experience (Required):
- Security Guard/Corrections: 3 year
- Law Enforcement: 1 year
- Military: 3 years
- Education (Preferred): Minimum requirement – High school or equivalent
